This lapis lazuli stone freeform is 11 cm tall, polished, and weighs 700 g. It comes from Afghanistan, the Badakhshan source mined for more than 6,000 years.
This piece has a flat base, so it stands on its own. The face is deep blue with pale veining, cloudy white areas, and darker patches. The stone feels cold and solid in hand. I can also see a few fine surface lines from the natural material. Traditionally, lapis has been associated with insight and protection, but this listing is for the stone itself.
