Raw lapis mine 4 from Afghanistan, 12 cm and 1082 g. This piece has deep blue sections, bright calcite matrix, and small pyrite flecks across the rough surface.
The blue reads darker in the thicker areas. It feels heavy in hand for its size, and the irregular edges show it is unpolished. A simple shelf piece or collector display if you want the stone left as found. Traditionally associated with calm and clarity.
